On Monday, September 23rd, Peacock Collegiate hosted Prairie South’s annual Saskatchewan Universities Institute Liaison. During this event grade 10, 11, and 12 students from all over Prairie South attended sessions dedicated to enhancing their knowledge, engaging with presenters, gathering resources, and asking questions about what types of post-secondary education can await them after graduating from high school. In the evening, students and parents had the opportunity to learn about each of the twelve institutions that were in attendance and discuss career and educational paths with recruiters.
A big thank you to the career guidance councilors for their parts in organizing this event; especially Corrie Lewis (Peacock Guidance Councilor) for hosting and prepping for the day and evening. This was greatly appreciated by all who attended.
